As a Team Coach, I accompany the team during the well-known stages of “forming, storming, norming, performing, and adjourning ” which were first described by Psychologist Bruce Tuckman in his 1965 paper, “Developmental Sequence in Small Groups.”
Together, with the use of the Clifton Strengths assessment @Gallup which emphasizes the advantage of cognitive diversity, the team defines its purpose and identifies the unique strengths and needs each person brings to the team which ensures a psychologically safe environment built on inclusion safety, learner safety, contributor safety and challenger safety [1]. These stages, when successfully implemented, lead to high-performing teams where leveraging their strengths leads to innovation and wellbeing.
The option to use the Empowered to Grow digital platform (https://www.e2grow.com) brings team coaching to a new level as team leaders learn to inspire people by being aware of how they make them feel, how they develop them, and how they communicate with them and amongst each other.
Personalized 1:1 coaching with a certified Gallup Strengths coach, micro-learning reminders that recognize the unique contributions of each team member, and regular practice in a psychologically safe space builds bridges across the complexity of cultures and languages.
